MY MORNING JACKET

I’ve seen Jim James amaze an audience of one hundred with just his voice and an acoustic guitar. I swear he has the power to bring the rain – he’s done it at least twice that I’ve seen. But there is no denying the elevating energy this 13-year old Kentucky band puts out in a massive festival setting; lilting and pounding and expanding their musical grasp until the whole crowd is caught up in a head-bobbing, psychedelic dream. This summer is THEIRS, and their set at Lollapalooza is one I would absolutely not miss.
